FixList is an independent comparison and guide site for UK trade businesses. We compare insurance providers, review suppliers, and publish startup guides for trades from barbers to driving instructors.

Who runs this?

FixList is a Minnis and Company project, based in Bournemouth. We are a small web and content business that builds tools and resources for independent UK businesses.

How we make money

FixList earns commission when you click through to a provider and purchase a policy or product. This does not affect our ratings or recommendations. We compare providers on their merits, not on who pays us the most. If a provider does not have an affiliate programme, we still include them if they deserve to be in the comparison.

Editorial independence

No provider can pay for a higher rating, a "top pick" badge, or preferential placement. Our rankings are based on price, cover quality, claims reputation, and ease of use. We update our comparisons quarterly and disclose our methodology on the how we review page.
